i havent signed in for so long, blogger logged me out from my browser. almost forgot my password when i logged in. haha.

okay, like what i've said, today's the last day that i can enjoy benefits (if any) from holding on to the green card. (oh you would be surprised at what the card can give us.) from tomorrow onwards, this green card will be rendered invalid. goodbye Green and hello Pink!

okay, if up till now you still have no idea what i'm talking about, then you're a nubcake.

isnt it ironic that i actually cant bear to leave my current working environment now when all along i was counting down to finishing my term of service? (no, that doesnt mean i will extend :D) like what Boss said, you cant bear to leave something because you know very well that you have left behind a system that you hope people can follow, and you wouldnt want it to die off just because of your departure. sometimes, you have to trust the person who takes over your work, trust that he or she will pick up from what was left, and trust that his lackadaisicalness doesnt get the better of him. yes, trust; the basic building block of human relationship. to which i just watched a movie The Incite Mill which revolves around 'trust'. good movie go watch it.

okay i digressed.

i guess my perspective is pretty different from other guys who chiong sua every day. instead of fighting a real war, i fight an office war. i once heard an office joke - nowadays educated people dont fight anymore, they go to the computer and they start shooting emails. haha. yes, dont ever belittle the power of emails. they are swift and silent killers. they travel faster than you can catch them back, they need no ammunition to destroy and they can be told to the whole world through the CC or BCC function.

one more thing that i learnt. use your boss to pin against other bosses, especially if yours is a big fuck. it doesnt matter if your boss has been informed of it, just throw out his name and people will not question. there was once when my Boss asked - since when did i say that? haha no he did not, we just found it convenient and effective to put his name down so that people comply when they see your name. or when other bosses want you to do something for them, sorry, my boss wants me to complete this first. but in fact, well there is nothing to be done at all. hahaha. do not be a smart alex and do things for other people. i know this sounds very selfish but sometimes you just have to put on your protective suit from any potential arrows that could kill you.

enough said, i shall look forward to tomorrow.
